GED programs

In-Person GED Program

Our GED Program is not like a typical program. We do not offer classes - each of our students works with an individual tutor to prepare for the exam. There is no cost for the Program - the only costs are for the official test, and we have financial aid available for that if needed.

Step 1: Register for the program and complete intake interview (30 min)

Step 2: Take GED Ready Tests in the 4 subjects (about one hour each)

Step 3: Review scores and create a learning plan

Step 4: Work with a tutor to prepare for the test (1-4 hours per week)

Step 5: Take the official GED exam

Our program is very laid back - go at your own pace, work with your schedule and focus on your needs.

We would love to set a time to talk with you more about what you are interested in and get you started towards your goals. Click the button below to get the ball rolling!

Online GED Program

Online GED Program: First, register for the program and receive your log-in and password information.

Next, take a practice test in the GED subject of your choice.

  • You may take the test anywhere you can get internet access.

Then choose an option based on your computer/internet access

  • Completely online

  • Textbook/worksheet based

Finally, you’ll receive your first weekly assignment to complete in your subject area. You can request more than one assignment each

week.

Each week you will complete the assigned work and check in with your instructor by phone or e-mail. This is to report progress

and ask any questions you have about the assignment.

  • YOU MUST DO YOUR WEEKLY CHECK-IN TO REMAIN IN THE PROGRAM.

After 8 weeks of assignments, you will take another practice test to check your progress.

When you are ready to pass the official test, we will make arrangements for you to schedule and take the test. Then you may begin on another subject.

You may also attend our Monday night open study drop-in from 4-7 or call to schedule a session with a tutor.

*******This program requires much dedication, but if you are motivated and make the time, you will be able to prepare for the GED test.
