SOUTH BALDWIN LITERACY COUNCIL

Nick completed his GED by working with his tutor Rick. He was determined to earn his GED! He came to each of his tutoring sessions with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. With his GED, Nick is looking to find some better job opportunities.

Melissa was driven to earn her GED to set a positive example for her children. She faced every challenge with determination and never gave up. Now, she’s pursuing her dream of becoming a nail technician!

David earned his GED and worked one-on-one with his tutor, Rick, showing dedication and focus to earn his GED. With that goal achieved, he’s now pursuing his passion to become a Substance Abuse Counselor, starting his journey as a Peer Counselor.

Cadin came to the South Baldwin Literacy Council eager to continue his career as a Firefighter. Mostly, Cadin worked independently to prepare for his GED but had help from our awesome tutor, Mike G. Now that he has earned his Official GED, Cadin is able to pursue Fire School and achieve his dream of becoming a Full-Time Firefighter!
