Volunteers are vital to the success of the South Baldwin Literacy Council. Without our volunteers, our community's literacy needs would not be met. In 2022 alone, we provided services to over 1,200 students. Our volunteers make an invaluable and intangible difference in our community. Volunteer opportunities are always available. From tutoring students to delivering books, we always have a place for you.

Eager Students
I felt a little overwhelmed at first as I have not tutored for 6 or 7 years, but the staff at SBLC have been very helpful. They answered my questions and provided the materials I needed. The students I have had have been eager to learn English and studied daily. I, of course, leaned from them too.
